Can I make a reservation before reservations open?
No. Reservations open on May 1 at 9 a.m. of the current calendar year. No exceptions. The reservation system is first-come, first-served.
Why are dates blocked off when reservations haven't opened?
The Town of Dillon does not rent the Marina Park Pavilion on holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day) or on any day there is a concert event at the Dillon Amphitheater. The pavilion remains free and open to the public on those days.
Where can we park?
Free parking is available in the Dillon Amphitheater Lot and surrounding parking lots in the Town of Dillon during non-events. During paid events at the Dillon Amphitheater, the Amphitheater Lot, Marina Lot and Lodgepole street are paid parking and may require a reservation.
When can we set up?
The reservation period begins at your scheduled time. If your event requires extensive setup, it is recommended that you reserve a full-day, not a half-day.
Can we bring a grill?
Personal grills are not allowed in the Pavilion. The pavilion has large and small charcoal grills for public use (please check current fire restrictions for availability).
I booked the Marina park Pavilion but my plans have changed, can I get a refund for my reservation?
No. Reservations for the Marina Park Pavilion are non-refundable.
Do I need to create an account on Amilia to make a reservation?
Yes. Amilia is our reservation software and you will need to create an account in order to reserve the Marina Park Pavilion. If you have participated in any recreation programming at the Town of Dillon, you should already have an account created.
Does my second home qualify me for the locals discount?
No. The Dillon discount is only available to those whose primary residence is in the Town of Dillon or Summit County.
We are a non-profit, how do we receive a discount on our reservation?
Proof of 501c status will be required AFTER the reservation is made. Once the status is verified, a Town employee will refund you 50% of the rental.
How are discounts applied?
With the exception of the non-profit discount, all other discounts will be applied automatically where applicable at checkout.
What noise levels can I expect in the area?
The Town of Dillon operates the Dillon Amphitheater throughout the summer with concerts and events frequently. Please keep in mind that if you are booking the pavilion during one of these events, there may be additional traffic, limited parking and higher than normal noise levels in the area. Please be sure to reference the Town of Dillon Events Calendar to be aware of any events happening on your preferred date.
We have a reservation, what level of privacy should we expect?
The Marina Park Pavilion sits adjacent to many public amenities including a public park, music venue, marina, and reservoir. The restrooms are a shared public amenity that services all other public amenities in the area. If you are looking for a private, intimate venue, the pavilion might not be the appropriate choice.
I want to host a fundraiser, are there additional permits required?
Yes, if you are planning on holding a fundraiser or any other type of commercial activity, you will need to fill out a Special Event Permit Application.
Reservations open on May 1 of the current calendar year.
