Rental Reservations Now Open!

Boat rentals for the 2026 summer season open on Wednesday, April 1. All boats are available to rent for a minimum of 2 hours. Our most popular rental periods are two, three and four-hour rentals, but you are welcome to call us for additional hours. Lake Dillon is the largest lake in the area and offers magnificent mountain vistas. Boat rentals enable you to explore the lake, fish or just bask in the summer sun.

All sailboat renters are required to take a sailboat weather course through the Dillon Marina before they make take out a rental even with current certification through the American Sailing Association or U.S. Sailing. The lesson is offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9am- 10 am. Please call 970-468-5100 to book the lesson. If you're rusty on your knowledge, take the ASA Online Sailing Course to brush up.

Marina Boat Rentals Information

Boat Disclaimer

Due to our high-altitude marine environment, not all boats have working radios. We recommend bringing your own speaker.
We no longer offer barbecue grills on any of our vessels and no personal grills are allowed to be brought onto our vessels.
The minimum rental time is 2 hours.
We are unable to guarantee one particular boat over another.
We do NOT allow paddle boards or Kayaks on our rental boats.
We do not provide coolers aboard our vessels, but you may bring your own.
We do not allow our boats to be beached.
We do not allow ladders on our rentals.

Availability & Rental Periods

PEAK SEASON: June 15 -August 30, 2026: Rentals are available from 8:00am-7:00pm.

OFF PEAK SEASONS: May 25-June 14, 2026 & August 31-September 30, 2026: Rentals are available from 9:00am- 4:30pm.

Any rental returned after a "scheduled" return time will incur a late fee of $75.00 + any additional rental time used.

ID required for Locals and Military Discount. Must be a Summit County ID for locals discount.

Cancelation Policy

Cancellations Made Outside of 48 Hours: You may cancel your reservation more than 48 hours prior to your scheduled rental time for a with no penalty but the processing fee

Cancellations Made Within 48 Hours: Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled rental will receive an 80% refund of the rental fee.

Cancellations Made Within 24 Hours: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled rental will receive a 50% refund of the rental fee.

No-Call, No-Show Policy: If you do not show up for your rental and fail to contact us ahead of time, you will not receive a refund.

Weather policy: In case of inclement weather (at the time of your rental), you may cancel your reservation with no penalty if the boat does not leave the dock. Once you leave the dock, there is a 2-hour minimum on every rental. For example, if you've rented the boat for 3 hours and return after 1 hour due to weather, you will only be charged for 2 hours rather than the 3-hour rental period.

Taxes, Fees, & Fuel

Boat rental prices do not include tax (8.875%), 6% nonrefundable FareHarbor booking fee (when booked online), or the credit card processing fee. Feel free to call us to book @ 970-468-5100.

Late Fee - Any rental returned after a scheduled return time will incur a late fee of $75.00 + any additional rental time used.

Cleaning Fee - Any rental returned in unsatisfactory condition, dirty, trashed, etc. will incur a minimum service fee of $142.00/hour

FUEL:

All boat rentals INCLUDE the cost of fuel. Boat rental rates do not include tax (8.875%)

Age Restrictions

Boat Capacity

Maximum boat capacity for each boat type includes ALL persons aboard (including infants and children) and cannot be negotiated. If you are found to have more passengers on board than the boat allows, you will be charged for a second boat for the same rental period you booked. There are sheriff patrol boats on the lake who watch for this. Please respect this rule as it is there for your safety and the safety of your passengers.
