The 101st Army Mountain Brass Band and 101st Army Country Band are 2 high energy music groups brought to you by your very own Colorado National Guard. The 101st Mountain Brass performs top 40 pop hits that will get audiences up out of their chairs and grooving to horn powered riffs from their favorite tunes. The 101st Army Country Band combines everything from classic country, modern country and classic rock into a powerful show full of guitar solos, boot scootin' dance tunes, and good times for all!
101st Army Country Band - The 101st Army Country Band is a true experience in Colorado culture, complete with boots, guitars, and cowboy hats. The 101st Army Country Band performs popular Country-Western selections from high-energy to honky-tonk. In honest Country-Western fashion, their selections express good times, heartache, love, and small-town living. Love of country and honor for our soldiers are woven throughout each performance.
101st Army Mountain Brass Band- As the newest of the 101st Army Band’s ensembles, the 101st Army Mountain Brass has exploded into the Colorado music scene, bringing beats to street festivals, stages, and communities up and down the front range. Our instrumentation features brass instruments, saxophones, and drums. We trace our roots back to the New Orleans style brass bands from a century ago but also follow the new age of brass bands that are increasingly popular in the U.S. Smiles and tapping toes just seem to happen when the 101st Army Mountain Brass is on stage. From modern covers of popular tunes to catchy jazz solos, this group has a unique way of connecting with communities and Soldiers everywhere.
