DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>AGES:</strong> All Ages<br><strong>DOORS:</strong> 6:00 pm<br><strong>SHOW:</strong> 7:00 pm<br><strong>Free Show</strong></p><p><strong>O’Connor Brothers Band</strong> is a five piece Denver, CO based band that plays original New Roots &amp; Rock music written by Matt and Sean O’Connor. They bring an upbeat, modern feel to a classic style to create a unique and gritty new roots sound that is turning heads throughout Colorado and beyond.</p><p>Making up the main cast of the band is Matt O’Connor on guitar/lap steel and lead vocals, Sean O’Connor on saxophones and backup vocals, Collin Sitgreaves on drums and percussion, Pierce Murphy on lead guitar and backup vocals, and Brendan O’Donoghue on Bass Guitar. Matt, Sean and Collin all first played together while studying in the jazz program at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.  The band got their start playing college house parties large and small around the Fort Collins area and quickly spread to more legitimate venues and festivals all around the state.</p><p>While it may take a village to raise a child, it takes <strong>Hobo Village</strong> to raise the roof!</p><p>Pulling equal inspiration from 70’s rock classics and modern heavy music, Summit County, CO’s Hobo Village plays a unique style of heavy psychedelic rock that hasn’t been heard in their High Rockies mountain community - until now!</p><p>Guitar solos, fuzz bass and hard drumming, heavy riffing and creative improvisation shape Hobo Village’s sound. At times soul-filled and sultry, at times scorching, Hobo Village lyrics and vocals bring audiences along into their mountain-living, working stiff, always-partying way of life.</p><p>Hobo Village’s high-energy live presentation of original music, as well as unique takes on old favorites - from Led Zeppelin to Kendrick Lamar, The Beatles to Alice in Chains, is not to be missed. Catch Hobo Village live to get the full experience!</p><p>Rock and roll at 10,780’ never sounded so good. The air may be thin, and the snow might be light, but the jams are always heavy!</p><p>If it’s too loud, you’re too old!</p><p><em>Tickets are not required for free shows (with the exception of July 4th). The Amphitheater operates on a first come first served basis. Once we reach capacity we will enact a one in one out policy. Most free shows do not reach capacity.</em></p>
