DESCRIPTION:<p>The Town of Dillon is excited to be a part of the US Pro Challenge and to kick things off we will be hosting a party on Sunday August 16th featuring the Railsplitters - <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cHsZugVnaw">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cHsZugVnaw</a>&nbsp;and The Haunted Wind Chimes- <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnCfSdvQ-oY">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnCfSdvQ-oY</a></p><p>The concert is part of 5-days of celebrating including <a href="https://dillon1.prod-as.govaccess.org/?navid=560">Friday, Saturday &amp; Sunday night concerts in Dillon </a>and <a href="http://arapahoebasin.com/ABasin/pro-challenge.aspx">Monday &amp; Tuesday </a>night shows at <a href="http://arapahoebasin.com/ABasin/pro-challenge.aspx">Arapahoe Basin</a>. </p><p>The <a href="http://www.usaprocyclingchallenge.com/">USA Pro Cycling Challenge</a> features routes that wind through all of Summit County’s communities and includes a sprint through the Town of Dillon before heading up to the Arapahoe Basin Mountain Top Finish. </p><p>Get your flags and cowbells out and be part of the festivities. Sit back and watch the sprint and a beer from one of Dillon's prime viewing locations or enjoy food from street vendors as the peloton races through town. </p><p>After watching the sprint head down to Dillon Amphitheater for live music, more food &amp; Libations and to watch the&nbsp;exciting Mountain Top finish on a Jumbotron.&nbsp;</p><p><a href="http://beta.cotrip.org/usapcc.htm">Road Closures: </a><br>Stay abreast of race times and road closures in order to get to your prime viewing location or accomplish any errands without a hassle. There will be rolling stops throughout the county and hard closures throughout the different stages. <br><br><a href="http://beta.cotrip.org/usapcc.htm">Dillon Closures</a> <br>Lake Dillon Drive will be closed from LaBonte to Buffalo Street from 12 pm until approx. 4 pm. Alternative routes through town will be available prior to 2 pm including Post Office access from LaBonte. Starting at approximately 2 pm Dillon Dam Road, Hwy 6 and ON and Off ramps and all exits and entrances will be closed along Lake Dillon Drive and West LaBonte from 2 pm until the race passes through town. <br><br><a href="http://beta.cotrip.org/usapcc.htm">Loveland Pass Closures </a><br>Starting at about 1:30, Eastbound and westbound Loveland Pass will be closed Loveland Ski Area to Montezuma Road intersection. Busses will be available from Keystone to Arapahoe Basin for race spectators. Re-open time is slated for around 6 pm.</p>
