Come and learn about what type of critters roam your backyard, see pelts and antlers up close, and discover how you can positively impact the wildlife in Summit County. Presented by Friends of the Dillon Ranger District. <br><br>August 20 Tenderfoot Trail Hike <br>Join locals (Jan Wiswell) for a 2 mile hike along one of Summit County’s most scenic trails, the Tenderfoot Trail. Meet at Marina Park at 9:30 am and then follow Jan (in your car) to the Tenderfoot Trailhead parking. Silverthorne 970 390-5754 <br><br>August 27 Smallest Foot Print, Largest Impact <br>Naturalist Sarah Slaton will discuss what kind of impact the mountain pine beetle is leaving on Summit County and how it could potentially change the landscape of this area.
